Our Story
Care with Heart Since 1990
M&A Living was founded by Mohammed and Anwar Hussain – a family built on hard work, compassion and an unshakeable belief that every person deserves to be cared for with dignity and love.
Mohammed arrived in England in 1956 with less than £5 to his name. After decades of determination, he and Anwar opened Haighfield Care Home in 1990 – Wigan’s first purpose-built care home. Beeches and Willows followed, and today their sons Naveed and Vaseem carry that same family vision forward.
More than 30 years on, the ethos remains exactly the same: caring with dignity, always.
